Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, I am a wife and mother to three beautiful daughters. Over the past 15 years, I've been on a journey of self-discovery, guided by holistic and humble living. I have always felt a deep connection to nature, with water playing a central role in my healing and growth. Whether by the ocean or a natural water spring, I feel most aligned when I'm close to water, using it to cleanse and reconnect with myself. One of the places that holds a special place in my heart is Sayulita, a small town in Mexico, where I experienced some of the most profound shifts in my life. In addition to my love for nature, I find joy in creating in the kitchen, exploring the healing properties of food and sharing nourishing meals with my family and friends.
My journey into massage and bodywork came later in life, sparked by personal transformation that inspired me to explore the body's capacity to heal. As I delved into massage and breathwork I discovered their profound effects on the body and mind, which deepened my passion to help others on their wellness journeys. Combining breathwork techniques with my knowledge of anatomy, I support my clients in optimizing their breathing and unlocking the profound health benefits that come with it. It was during my travels to Sayulita that I fully embraced this path, realizing that my purpose is to empower others through the healing synergy of breath, bodywork, and the mind-body connection.
At the core of my practice is the belief that healing comes from within. I understand that our bodies hold deep wisdom, and my approach to massage and bodywork is centered around this principle. By integrating breathwork techniques with mindful bodywork, I create a nurturing environment where you can fully relax an allow your body to release tension and restore balance. Each session is tailored to your unique needs, Combining deep tissue and myofascial techniques and intuitive touch to help you reconnect with yourself on a deeper level. My goal is to empower you to tap into your body's innate intelligence, facilitating a journey towards improved well-being and overall harmony.
In alignment with this philosophy, I also prioritize my own wellness practices, which play a vital role in maintaining balance and connection in my life.
Outside of the treatment room, I stay connected to my own well-being through a few simple practices. I engage in daily breathwork and mindful movement to help me connect to my body, and prioritize regular body care through massage therapy to maintain balance and harmony. Spending time in nature - especially by water - allows me to recharge and reset. These practices not only keep me centered but also inform my work with clients, as I believe the key to well-being is creating space for the body and mind to thrive.
